We are delighted to announce the completion of our latest workplace furniture fit-out at Swords County Hall, delivered in collaboration with Fingal County Council, Smith & Coleman Construction, and Tea Lane Architects.
This innovative project demonstrates how thoughtful workplace design, sustainable procurement and high quality furniture can come together to create a flexible, future ready office environment that supports both employee wellbeing and organisational performance.
A Workplace Designed for the Future
The vision for Swords County Hall was to create a modern workspace that encourages collaboration, supports a variety of working styles and provides employees with greater choice throughout the working day.
The workplace has been carefully planned to accommodate focused individual work, informal collaboration and team meetings, with a range of adaptable furniture solutions that can evolve alongside the needs of the organisation.
By creating a more agile and welcoming environment, the project reflects the changing expectations of today’s workplace while promoting productivity, comfort and wellbeing.
A Commitment to Sustainable Procurement
Sustainability was a key consideration throughout the project.
Every furniture piece was selected to meet the project’s ambitious environmental objectives, with 100% of products manufactured in Europe. The specification prioritised manufacturers with recognised environmental credentials, ethical production standards and proven product durability, helping to reduce transportation impacts while supporting responsible procurement practices.
By investing in high quality furniture designed for longevity, the project demonstrates how sustainable purchasing decisions can deliver lasting value for both organisations and the environment.
Our Scope
Total Fitout was responsible for the supply and installation of the loose furniture throughout the project.
Working to an agreed programme, our team successfully completed the installation over a two week period, ensuring every product was delivered, assembled and positioned in accordance with the approved furniture schedule and design intent.
Close coordination with the wider project team allowed the installation to progress efficiently while maintaining the high standards expected on every Total Fitout project.

The completed workspace incorporates a variety of settings that allow employees to choose the environment best suited to the task at hand.
